Former Officer, Guadalupe (Lupe) Diaz very ill.

Retiree, Frank Alvarado sends us this notification:

Lupe Diaz, starts chemo this next week. He was diagnosed with,

and had surgery, for a large tumor. They got the tumor and part of

his intestines also. So now he needs our prayers.

His brother tells me he is down to 160 lbs.

Next Saturday, Jan. 10,2009, they are having a fundraiser at the

Sunset Lounge on Nogalitos (between Culberson and Division)

from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, brisket plate for $6.00.

who might know Lupe.

Lupe Diaz left the Department in the late ’80’s.

He graduated from academy in 1968A.
