Former officer and friend passes away.

I HAVE JUST READ IN THE OBITS IN MYSA.COM
WHERE ONE OF MY CLASS MATES PASSED AWAY
ON THE 13th.


MR.OWEN KILDAY DIDN'T STAY ON THE DEPT
VERY LONG, BUT HE SURE WAS A NICE FELLA.

HE WAS 73 YRS OLD. I'M SURE HE WILL BE
MISSED BY HIS FAMILY AND ALL THAT KNEW HIM.

Owen Kilday



Owen B. Kilday was born November 23, 1936
and passed away on December 13, 2008, at the
age of 73 with his family present. He was
preceded in death by his father, Chief of Police
of the city of San Antonio and Sheriff of Bexar
County, Owen W. Kilday.

He leaves behind his sons, Gary and Omar and
daughter Kathy. His careers included serving
on the police forces of the cities of Grapevine
and San Antonio, and in the transportation
department of North East ISD. In lieu of flowers,
donations in his name may be made to KLRN,
www.klrn.org or The National WWII Museum
www.ddaymuseum.org
.

A gathering in celebration of his life will be
held at his home on Saturday,
December 20 at 1:00 pm.
