I was in a bar in Victoria, B.C. Canada a few years ago,
name of the bar was Big Bad John's and they served
Lone Star longnecks.
So naturally I went in and there were large picture prints
all over the walls of pictures of San Antonio from the
early horse and buggy days, the Alamo and
up to the 30's.
The owner there didn't have a clue where the pictures
were from. He had just bought the place and was
planning on remodeling.
After I explained that they were real pictures of old
San Antonio and some of the history of Texas and
San Antonio, he thanked me said he'd changed his
mind about remodeling and bought me a long neck.
I think that was around 1984.
