Retired SAPD Officer Mark Meservey passed
away Friday, 01-23-09, at the age of 60.
Mark Scott Meservey, Sr., beloved husband,
father & Papoo, went home to be with the Lord
on January 23, 2009.
He was born on September 24, 1948 in Hudson, NY
to Chandler & Hilda Meservey. Mark served in the U.S.
Air force from 1967 to 1971, serving a tour in Korea.
He retired from the San Antonio Police Department,
as a Detective with 29 years served, in 2001.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Carmen
Juarez Meservey; son, Mark, Jr.; daughter, Marissa
Lozano & husband Adam Lozano, Sr.; grandsons,
Adam Jr. and Scott; granddaughter, Brooke Lozano;
brothers, Timothy Meservey & wife Lucy and Bruce
Meservey; sister, Valli Jaronsik & husband Paul; numerous
nieces; nephews and other loving relatives,
Ann Munoz and Leann Ayala.
Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, January
28, 2009 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Hesita
& his caring staff, Mimi, Stephanie and Cathy for their
professional care and kindness. Mark will be missed very
much, and always in our hearts.
Visitation will be today Tuesday, 01-27, from
