Police Widow Vivian Gorman passes away May 17th

VIVIAN M. GORMAN Vivian returned to the loving arms of her beloved husband Andy on Saturday, May 17, 2008. She was born November 3, 1929 and lived every day to the fullest. Vivian was retired from federal government civil service, a charter member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and the Social Auxiliary of the Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her husband and her brother, J.E. Spear. Vivian is survived by her children, who loved her very much, Andy and Tricia Gorman, Sandra and Charlie Sawyer, Debbie and Michael Wheiles, Randall and Mona Gorman; grandkids that she adored, Michelle, Kelli, Sara, Haley, A.J. and Kailee; brothers, James, Harvey and Maurice Spear; numerous relatives and friends. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to: St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 700 Dewhurst, San Antonio TX 78213 and/or the Presentation Sisters Retirement Fund, 8931 Callaghan Rd., San Antonio TX 78230. SERVICES Visitation will begin at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM. The Mass of the Resurrection will begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
