  1. My name is Trinidad Noyola and I retired in Jan of 89 but I would just like to tell you that my brother-in-Christ, Robert Coronado just died on Jan 29, 2009.

Bobby was 60 yrs old and had been a detective for a number of yrs before retiring. He worked as a D.A. investigator and worked in Sourth America for the C.I.A. after his retirement.

His most important accomplishment was that he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1983. He became a born-again Christian and his life radically changed. He gave me gospel tracts everyday at roll call and I accepted Jesus as my Lord after checking the tracts with my Bible at home. Bobby, along with many other policemen, began evangelizing the whole police dept. and we became the most hated of all groups. We even came out on the front page of the newspaper for our evangelism. But Praise the Lord he is now in heaven rejoicing. He had his ups and downs just like we all do but his trust and hope was in the finish work of Christ on the Cross. His sins were paid in full at Calvary! He was not trusting in his own goodness because "there is none good".

Visitation will be at Alamo Funeral Home, 624 N. Alamo, Wed. Feb 4, from 4pm- til --. Burial will be at Ft Sam Houston Thursday, Feb 5, 2009 at 12 noon. Retired officer, Pastor Albert Byrum, will officiate.
