I just got word that retired Sergeant Johnny Sanders is in hospice.

Johnny, was one hell of a police officer, detective and
sergeant. More important to all of us, he was the center lug-nut that held our union together in the mid 1970'sand stood with presidents as we went from a fraternal organization to a union.
