Father of retiree Greg Nefford passes away.

NEFFORD William Nefford of Kingsland, Texas departed this earthly life October 22, 2008. He was born August 12, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas to Bill and Esther Nefford. He was 82 years of age. He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII at a demolition and experimental base as an electrician and later abroad the LSMR-412. He served in the San Antonio Fire Department for 21 years. He leaves behind his beloved of 61 years Patsy R. Nefford, two sons Gregory T. and wife Barbara, W. Russell (Rusty) and wife Rochelle and Goddaughter La Nette S. Drury and husband Howard. 5 grandchildren, Michael Nefford, Susan Walker, Holly Nefford, Amy Collins and Austin Drury and 9 great-grandchildren. He was a member of Genesis Lutheran Church in Buchanan Dam Texas. Services Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2008 from 6:00 P.M. ~ 8:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. also at the funeral home with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South. Pastor Brian Bibler will be officiating the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Genesis Lutheran Church Building Fund P.O. Box 994, Buchanan Dam TX. 78609.
